Today, Prime Minister Morawiecki and President Juncker held a constructive discussion on several different topics. The meeting was the continuation of the dialogue initiated during the first talks between Mateusz Morawiecki and Jean-Claude Juncker behind the scenes of the European Council’s meeting in December last year.
During today’s meeting, the politicians discussed a wide range of issues of common interests, i.a. the future of the European Union, Poland’s position within the EU, Union policy within the internal market, digital single market, as well as energy and migration.
Prime Minister Morawiecki and President Juncker also had the opportunity to thoroughly discuss the matters related to the rule of law.
The politicians agreed to meet again to continue the dialogue with a view to make further progress by the end of February.
The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere.
