Poland actively supports Belarusian society in its efforts to achieve democratic changes. This time, the head of the government discussed the difficult situation of our neighbour with Polish MEPs from various political groups. Today's videoconference is the result of decisions made during talks between government representatives and the opposition. From the very beginning, when post-election protests continue across our eastern border, Poland has been the ambassador of free and sovereign Belarus. Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki is in talks with the heads of states and governments of the European Union. In response to the deteriorating situation, the Polish government also adopted the aid package called "Solidarity with Belarus".
