Re-opening the national border with Lithuania

The Polish-Lithuanian border was re-opened at 9.00 a.m. on 12 June. Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Lithuanian Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis announced it at the Budzisko-Kalvarija border crossing point. The heads of the governments participated in a symbolic opening ceremony of the border which had been closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
