Bartosz Arłukowicz
Minister of Health

Born on 30 December 1971 in Resk.
Graduated from the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin (Faculty of Medicine) and the Szczecin University (MBA). Holds a 2nd degree of specialization in pediatrics. Authorized to hold positions on supervisory boards of State Treasury companies.
Arłukowicz worked, inter alia, at the Clinic of Pediatrics, Hematology and Oncology of the Pomeranian Medical University and in the Voivodeship Medical Rescue Station. Lecturer of the PMU. His devotion to children has been recognized with the International Order of the Smile (2006) and the “Brzdąc” award presented by the youngest inhabitants of the city of Szczecin.
Between 2002 and 2007 Arłukowicz was a member of the Szczecin City Council, and between 2002 and 2006 he was the head of its Health and Social Policy Committee.
A Member of Parliament since 2007. Works in the Sejm’s Health and Foreign Affairs Committees. Between November 2009 and October 2010 deputy chairman of the Sejm’s Investigative Committee for examining the course of the legislative process related to the amendment of the Act of 29 July 1992 on games and mutual wagering and secondary legislation based thereon, in the scope related to games on low-prize machines and video-lottery terminals, and for examining the legality of actions of government administration authorities investigating this process.
From May 2011 to November 2011 - secretary of state in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister and Plenipotentiary of the Prime Minister for Combating Social Exclusion.
