Barbara Kudrycka
Minister of Science and Higher Education

Born on 22nd January 1956 in Kolno.
She specialises in administrative law, public administration and is professor of Administrative Law and the Science of Public Administration (since 2003).
Profesor Barbara Kudrycka is a member of a number of national and international organisations involved in public administration reforms, combatting corruption, building instruments designed to support central and decentralised public administration and a member of Transparency International Polska and Amnesty International. She holds the MONAR Association’s A Heart For A Heart Award.
From 2004 through 2007 she was a Member of European Parliament. She sat on the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs and was a member of the Delegation for relations with Belarus.
Since November 2007 she has been minister of science and higher education.
